A small, evolving group of volunteers has been stewarding three plots at the UpGarden P-Patch, located on the rooftop above ArtHOME, since September 2025. The group includes both seasoned gardeners and those new to the practice, coming together through a shared interest in care, creativity, and connection.

The garden has become more than a place to grow food. It is a space for collaboration and experimentation, where seasonal rhythms guide our work, and where we explore the intersection of nature and art. This has included incorporating handmade elements into the space, as well as using what we grow in creative ways: plant-based dyes, found-material instruments, printmaking, and other forms of artistic expression.

Participation is open and flexible. Whether you have gardening experience, are curious about integrating natural materials into creative practice, or are simply looking for a way to spend more time outdoors in community, you are welcome here.
