About

Queer Visions honors the long history of LGBTQIA+ resistance and celebrates the power of art to heal, connect, and build community.

Event Description

To be queer is to live boldly in a world that often demands we stay small. It is an act of courage, creativity, resistance—and joy. Taking pride in one’s queerness can be both liberating and dangerous, vulnerable and powerful.

The art pieces displayed in Queer Visions offer a powerful exploration of identity, queer joy, and belonging. Across collage, painting, sculpture, jewelry, writing, and video, the artists of Queer Visions transform lived experience into bold statements of resilience and self-expression—manifested in the pieces you see in this space.

Art-making is inherently vulnerable. It takes courage to share your story, and strength to witness someone else’s. This exhibition invites us to celebrate each other’s voices, processes, and creative triumphs—however they take shape.

While the LGBTQIA+ community has made significant strides in the fight for equity, we continue to face threats to our rights and our safety. In a society that often seeks to marginalize queer lives, Path with Art strives to foster solidarity, visibility, and strength through art.
